I really hope the crafting system allows for repairs on items

Recommended Posts

Cause when they actually get the game going, and quality matters, yaaaa everything will be in bad shape so I sure hope duct tape, screw drivers, wrenches and other tools become crazy valuable and useful for repairing and fixing so that we don't just dump 90% of our stuff and server hop for pristine crap.

+1

I'd rather have less loot, but be able to take care of it (maybe fix someone else's dumped stuff), than just leave damaged shit and find some new stuff.

It seems obvious to me that that is what they are heading for, with all the tools laying around and the grading system.

of course they will, dean knows what he wants to do with this game and with some patience it will definitely be a game for the decade

Indeed.. I'm thinking weapons would probably need an actual "weapon cleaning/repair kit"

Other than that I'm sure something like you speak of is planned  :D

How about if you acquire enough duct-tape you can just make your own gear entirely out of duct-tape.

I use ruined items and they work just fine.
