BadAsh (DayZ) 1513 Posted January 13, 2014 While being hungry, looking for cans of beans I found "The Hunger" by Knut Hamsun, about a guy running around in Norway starving himself. It was before I knew how to read the books, though, so I don't have it anymore, but I thought it could be fun to place it in a backpack in the wilderness somewhere, so another starving survivor could at first be thrilled about finding some loot out there, and then disappointed by the fact that it only contained a book about a man that is starving. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

stilton 14 Posted January 26, 2014 Lmao The Book of Eli comes to mind here....i can see it all now, full squads on the hunt for a book cos one guy got killed reading the second last page. Game gets better every minute... I saw the other thread related to this where someone was making a book exchange... I thought it was a cool idea that people were 'roleplaying' the idea of ... The book of eli...Probably has nothing to do with the fact i watched it the night before last... Then i see here that you can actually open and read them... As weird as it sounds is actually motivating me to fire up dayz.I haven't played in a week... I got looted up and had nothing to do except PK people looting up -- which makes me feel evil.. ..But NOW.... Time to go read me some books! Dayz u so awesome. :blush: It will be great for people doing the whole 'rp' thing,I'm sure some of the more technical books, as someone said earlier would be good for 'skill training' if they decide to implement it that way...
