Z0mbi3z 15 Posted January 12, 2014 Okay so i managed to boost my FPS from 30 to 40-50 and i was so happy and confident i even went to turn my graphics off the lowest possible, But upon changing my resolution it came up with an error message, It said something like "Error device reset failed, error " so i thought Oh well i will leave the resolution alone, And i ended up changing the graphics until my game looked good to play and my FPS was down to 40, But after looting the ship in the east my game crashed and it came up with that error again, Even without touching my Resolution, Does anyone know how to fix this error. Oh and by the way the way i boosted the FPS so well was to right click DayZ on my stream library and click properties and go to "set launch options" then you put "-winxp" into that box and click "Ok" to save it. LegitOldSchool 261 Posted January 12, 2014 (edited) What does the "-winxp" launch command do? It makes the game run as if under windows XP/Directx9 AFAIK.
