DirtyscumbagLith 270 Posted January 10, 2014 I left Kamy last night & headed to Msta for supplies. I was on a fresh server & had an M4 & plenty of ammo. Ran through the treelines to get there & then crouched down for quick survelliance. No one. Looked empty. Doors closed & zombies- good sign. Started searching homes & found plenty of food. Entered into a home & suddenly a guy was in the backroom- we both stopped in our tracks. He had nothing, while I had an m4. The Cube in me flared. "Don't move! Dont move!" I yelled."I'm friendly! FRIENDLY!" he yelled back. I stood there, M4 aimed at him. I could take his food, I thought. His drink. Gun this f'er down & hide his body. Dunno why I hesitated.... but ultimately, Lionel won.I let him go."Back up and exit the door to your left & I'll go out this way." I told him. We left & never saw the guy again. When chernarus is 10 x more dangerous than Compton, I'm not sure how I felt about this exchange. I didnt feel any better than what I've done- just more cautious, more vulnerable, lots more vulnerable. People tend to be friendly when they dont have a gun, I've noticed, which is the ultimate bullshit line. But would he have done the same? Would he have spared me? I died twice last night in different, unrelated incidents, but can you trust anyone in this game? Dunno. But I think I'd rather be Cube than a Lionel for now on. Seems safer that way.
