Get Rid of Zombie "Slowdown" Period

When I started up the Standalone today. I angered a few infected. They jogged at me when they saw me. But then they began power-walking/Zambling at me. They remained like this for the rest of the chase. I was extremely annoyed by this as there was no challenge. I began to think that the devs had turned them into the horrendous "Undead" zombies. I really hope that ye get rid of the "slowdown" Zambling period for zombies and speed them up so that they aren't just jogging anymore. I do hope they implement the "Zombie Speed/Health Affected By Region" idea I posted in another zombie speed topic.

This is it:

Server monitors D/Z (Death by Zombie)rates in each part of the map. Map is divided into sectors which are monitored by the server. The server adjusts the speed ad health of the infected in these sectors in sync with the amount of deaths by zombie occurring in these areas. This would simulate the fact that the zombies are fed, well fed, full, starving, hungry, weak Etc. I think this would possibly take a big impact on performance but I don't really know :(

I want to see a large variety of deadly, realistic and effective weapon systems along side "28 days later" style zombies.

I want to see both slow and fast zombies. Really ? You keep saying that it's a realistic game but in real life do ALL people run with the EXACTLY same speed all the time, or are some people faster or slower than other people ? If Usain Bolt was infected would he run with the same speed as a 70 yo grandma ?

I want to see players slow down after sprinting too. I'm all for having a few slow zombies. Please note the idea of zombie health/speed determined by DBZ (Death By Zomb) ratio per area, monitored by server. Areas with starving zombies will have slower zombies.

But the annoying "slowdown" period for zombies is ridiculous. So they can withstand 20 hits to the head with a crowbar but they can't even sprint for more than 20m.

Agreed, I'm sure zombies will be fixed though.

What I'd like to see is zombies that can stay on your tail with speed, but you can still find ways to evade them. 

Maybe the "shambling" can be saved for indoors? not the super slow version from the mod, but something in between.

Servers are already overloaded, adding some more computation at this point is impossible. I believe at the current they have 4000 zombies spawn into the Chernarus at server restart and because respawn script is too heavy for the servers to handle at the moment, they dont respawn. Hopefully when respawn is fixed the game will become more challenging.
