Who do you trust the most?

Recommended Posts

The most peaceful situations by far - okay they were hoppers and pussys, but ... yeah - I had in a DayZ-Round with gear like A carries it.

Before this I was equipping to B. Not because I was a KoSer, not because I was a bandit and not because I hopped servers. It was just because DayZ SA was brand new to me and I wanted to have the most high-end stuff. And theres no discussion: B carries the best clothing of the game, because it offers a max of camo. You can just discuss, if you personally need and want it.

Btw. we allways use an uniform in squad. Don't care which clothing it actually is, but we all carry the same.

Server hoppers... EVERYWHERE

A.

I personally shoot every Militarygear player on sight, because i know where it's gonna end if i don't. (If they pose a threat, that is. AKA too close etc. If they're far away in a place i'm not gonna enter.)

And there is also variations for that. If i can talk to them in safety, i do that.

It's a horrible cycle though. I wear military gear so bandits don't see me.

I trust B over A. Player A seems to think a hat will protect against headshots, multi colored clothing will help him stay hidden from bandits, and an M4 can counter snipers in a sniper-rich game.

Player B would make a better, more efficient, and influential hero. Don't hate on him just because you're biologically programmed to fear someone whose face is hidden and gear seems more threatening.

Better question, who would you rather trust on your team?

Both would get a chance, dont judge a book by its cover lol. Make them see me from a distance, then lower my wep. If they shoot, return fire/run. But that's pretty much what i do every time lol

I think most shoot because they don't want to loose gear, but if you show fast its not your intention, you sometimes get the same reaction. Them knowing you could have, but didnt, seems to help aswell :)

Doesn't seem like it, when i try to approach a dude wielding an axe in a hangar. Put my gun down, waved at him and tried to offer some food by talking in VoIP.

Logged out right in my face. And surely enough wasn't the first time this happened. 1

Also, I'd like to add C & D .

C ~ Casual clothed Female

D ~ Military Clothes female with mask.

My friend told me. he uses a female player more, because people trust him more, so he can kill them... not even joking.

Edit :phew, almost posted D & E

That because all the teenager on the internet think its a women and if there nice to her she'll get into bed with them lol

I wouldn't trust the #1 because he is dressed for urban combat. He isn't even bothered to camouflage himself as he rarely leaves a city which even the picture background shows.

The #2 strikes me as an forest survivor and his long range scope is either suggesting he's very careful person or simply snipes from shadows.

The circumstance would change to exact opposite and #2 camo guy in town = bandit :)

'Situation awareness' is the perception of environmental elements with respect to time and/or space, the comprehension of their meaning, and the projection of their status after some variables changed, such as time, or some other variable, such as a predetermined event. It is also a field of study concerned with perception of the environment critical to decision-makers in complex, dynamic areas from aviation, air traffic control, ship navigation, power plant operations, military command and control, and emergency services such as fire fighting and policing; to more ordinary but nevertheless complex tasks such as driving an automobile or bicycle.

Appearances mean nothing.

Anybody who see's either A or B (who has 'Situation awareness'), will not trust either one.

(Don't pretend you have situation awareness, I've been playing Arma 2 & 3, trying to achieve this, it's not something that comes easily, or for bragging rights, hur hur I'm fully aware hur hur.... NO, not yet.)

Dayz, you either have enough time to assess the risk, or you're faced with a barrel to barrel confrontation. Regardless of what you THINK, it comes down to 'Situation awareness'...  even if you have it, does it mean the other person has it too? Well, you have to assess that within seconds.

Situational awareness makes this thread irrelevant. ~Sorry OP~

Neither, both are dead on sight as far as I'm concerned. But if I absolutely had to; A.

B is probably your atypical, server hopping KOSer who gears up just to kill bambies.

Plus no-one rocks a long range scoped mosin nagant for friendly gameplay. No-one.

Actually, I do use the mosin with long scope in game, and I'm very friendly. It's the long distance recon I need it for. If they had binoculars I probably wouldn't even need a primary gun.

The second outfit is just better. High camo, lots of slots, protects from zombies. I've been killed by a guy in a t-shirt and a shovel, so I don't trust anyone who points a gun at me, comes at me without speaking or gets in my personal space.

Then again I'm biased too. I'll pretty much shoot anyone wearing a payday mask.

Thinking out loud since time began.
