outdoorheating@gmail.com 1 Posted January 10, 2014 hi , I have been playing fine for a couple of days now , however all of a sudden I am unable to do anything . I log on a server , when I try and open a door nothing happens , if I try and pick something up nothing happens . If I try and take something out of my inventory nothing happens. all in the meantime I can still run around but not actually do anything , and other players can see me still. please help !! Further to that the latest patch was a hotfix and sometimes they just don't go through. You don't have to re-install (unless something catastrophic has happened) but just go to steam library - right click dayz - properties - local files - Verify Integrity of Game Cache Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
a:i 0 Posted January 10, 2014 I've got the exact same problem too, for the past 2 days now. I've tried everything: Reset my router, deleted config files, re-installed Steam as well as DayZ. My internet connection is fine, downloaded DayZ (5gb) in 1 hour after re-installing it. I've also verified game cache on steam and have updates set to automatic. Also tried connecting to a few different servers, but still, nothing works. All my other friends seem to be able to play just fine. It's happened to me after I've died, and respawned as a new character. And then kept happening. We just have to wait it out for an update that hopefully fixes it.
