A question about voice comms

Recommended Posts

So if i understand it correctly,  when i am plugged into the game with my headset and mic, i should be able to hear another real person in my vacinity talk to me and me be able to talk to them right?  No need to log into TS/Mumble etc?

People in your vincinity can talk to you, with CAPSLOCK (default) you can talk to them.

However, don't be surprised if you hear some odd puffs or bangs instead - many people just don't know about proper ways of communication and interaction, but simply kill you instead

No you don't need TS/Mumble.  VOIP is built in to the game.  However, many people use Steam chat, Mumble, Teamspeak, etc. to coordinate privately.
