What games should I buy to play DayZ?

Me and friends really liked the mod and we are thinking about buying the game(s).

Arma 2 Combine operations.

or be cheap and buy just arma 2 OA and get the free arma 2, but it's best to just get CO

It's best to get it on steam as the retail version takes more effort to set up, but if it's cheaper there it will still work.
