[Suggestion] Pen + Paper + Tape = Notice

Recommended Posts

I've been playing the standalone since release and have been enjoying the beanz!  Keep up the good work devs!

During my wanderings I've come accross pen and paper.  I've been unable to use these yet (although I read they working in the past). I like the idea of have player created notes /journals, but I was thinking a nice add to the game would be to allow players to post these notes upon object in the game.

The ability to post notes on doors / road signs/ buildings, would allow players to communicate information with other players without direct communication.

It could be a simple as "Careful! Sniper in the area!"  or more elaborate uses as in allowing players to clear a town of zombies, and setup a safe zone for trading by patrolling it and communicating this fact to other players by placing these notes on the road signs / churches of said town.

Hopefully these notes would persist - kinda like the tents from the mod.  They are attached to the character that created them and get removed x number of days  or after character death if not removed by a player.

I'm sure other uses could come up - just thought it would be a nice feature to add.

Just my .02.

Thanks for reading!

Yes, I've been wanting to suggest this for a while. It would be awesome, but i'm thinking it would cause too many performance problems for the minor improvement.
