Loading rounds into a magazine

So I did a search and couldn't find anything. 

 

If I'm posting this in the wrong place I apologize. 

 

I have a 5.56 mag for my M4...and I have 40 rounds of bullets in boxes...of 5.56. 

 

I drag it over the magazine...hit load ammo...and it says wrong ammo type. 

 

Am I doing something wrong? It's 5.56...it should fit in a 5.56 mag right?

You have to take the ammo out of the box first.

Right click the cardboard box containing the ammo and select empty.

Drag the mag into your inventory/take it off your gun. Take out ammo from mag. Put clip in mag. You're welcome.

Both of these guys are correct. 1) Right click box of ammo and select 'empty'. 2) Take magazine off m4 by right clicking it. 3) Drag emptied ammo onto magazine to fill it. 4) Reload mag into gun.
