How big will servers be?

Just wondering if anyone has any thought on how big (population wise) servers will get? Will there be 100 person servers? 40 people is decent, but with a map this size is a bit light.

They would like to have servers capable of having 150 players on release... Which may be rather far off.

Currently everything is about performance and keeping the servers as stable as possible. And as the processing power of provided gameservers are mostly limited they're capped at 40 players - however:

 

in the testing we were playing on a server that had 127 slots - so it's possible, just not right now. :)

They're meant to be doing something big for optimisation that was just held back from release.
