Video Editing Software, What Do You Use?

Hello all,

 

I have recently recorded a smattering of videos from my ventures in the Post-apocalyptic Cherno and want to slice and dice a few clips together into a video to share with my friends.

 

Is there a particular editing software out there that is free and user friendly? I don't have any experience in making videos so your input is greatly appreciated :)

I using fraps for record and windows movie maker for edit

is free but is limit on feature but if you only want to do simple movie is doing good job :thumbsup:  ;)

 

soon I doing upgrade to sony vegas because it having more feature example better sound tools and graphics option for improve presentation etc

I have a very new piece of software.

Crazy expensive, but sooooo worth it. You can do so much with it.

Videopad Video-editor

completely free, very small program.

Seems to be a bit complicated in the beginning, but it becomes easier, and has lots of features.

 

However, it can't handle big videos not very good (like over 15-20mins or 3-4GB-videos), so just cut them in "little" filmpieces ^^

Dxtory for recording, Sony Vegas for editing and AviDemux for encoding. It's a littlebit more complicated at first, but the quality to file size is astonishing. :D

I use fraps for recording (just downloaded dxtory, hope it will be better), and vegas pro for editing.

 

You can ofcourse buy it, which is very expensive. But there are other ways to get it for free, something with a bay and a pirate.

Editing? Not really I record to go back over certain situations I found interesting.

But if I use blender for reviewing stuff frame by frame.

Am I reading tight...??? Dxtory is expensive? Dafuq.. I must of been lucky then it cost less than Dayz lol.

And if your referring to Vegas enjoy your viruses.. Expensive don't mean shit. Have your tried using some free programs! You'd be surprised as to how well they perform.
