zimboy 5 Posted January 6, 2014 (edited) Scope was ranged to 300mActual range (270m - 300m ) 5 shots per test Pictures done with Blender and Gimp (free software) and too much time on my hands <_<Recording done with Dxtory. Might do some for longer ranges if i get bored.Bi-pod - Pristine.Long range Scope - Pristine. Feel free to draw your own conclusions the one that realy interested me was Crouch & Bi-pod retracted  Prone & Bi-pod deployed. Prone & Bi-pod retracted Prone & No Bi-pod Crouch & Bi-pod Deployed. Crouch & Bi-pod Retracted. Crouch & no Bi-pod. kovie20@gmail.com 125 Posted January 6, 2014 The last two results seem a little strange to me. If anything the bi-pod being on the rifle would affect how straight you shoot, similar to a bayonet. Otherwise seems pretty realistic.
wud 143 Posted January 6, 2014 nice to know that while crouching, bipod retracted, is the better choicegood work
zimboy 5 Posted January 6, 2014 Its only 5 bullets though, the only consistent performer is Prone & bi-pod deployed.I did experience some erratic shots with the others never consistent with the same grouping. Although the bullets always pull left slightly on the prone & Bi-pod Deployed.
irl-calibre 744 Posted January 6, 2014 (edited) tbh I don't think the bullets pull left its the cross hairs are not properly centred and are a little to the right. how I know this is when playing in 3D with 3d sight enabled I can see that the cross hairs of the long range scope are off.. Punkrawks 136 Posted January 6, 2014 yes, the crosshairs are off on the mosin. Anything beyond 200m I have to aim to the right.
