gannon46 788 Posted January 6, 2014 (edited) was wondering the other day i was killed by some very challenging foes. while he was yelling craziness through direct at my corpse i decided to smoke a cig before logging out and back in.ok so i could hear him reload, i could hear his movements and tell the direction they were going.it was funny cause my body made groaning noises and they kept shooting my corpse all the while cursing lol. I quickly realized i was not being sporting and logged. I didn't relay any info on there position. but i could see how it could happen. just a warning don't hang around corpses especially if its a group your engaged with it might be dead but it can still hear possibly. anyone else ran across this? i also add that i was at the exit/options menu not the you are dead. soulfirez 901 Posted January 6, 2014 LOL there have been times when i wished my killer(if there was one) to reply to me i have had a couple strange deaths and i sat talking hoping for a reply on if it was a bug that killed me or a player(we are testing this an alpha lol ). But yes when the game is complete i believe death /unconcious means you no longer hear or can speak in game direct imo... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

We noticed that direct was still working, so he just lied there yelling random shit. It attracted a lot of attention, and soon the place was swarming with random people. We eventually got the snipers killed. It was a lot of fun, closing in on the house and hearing the screams of my dead buddy. "WoOoOoOoo. I am a hoooooorrible ghOooOost""Heeey, all the freshies in toooown, Free stuff over heeere!"
