Anyone else not seeing loot or even zombies since last update?

Ive gone to a few servers and this has happened in every one of them, I've searched many buildings that do not have their doors open yet (so I assume they haven't been looted unless some nice person decided they'd shut the doors of the houses they just stole from).  Probably upwards of 20 buildings so far, and none of them have any items whatsoever, not even rotten fruit or clothing.  

 

Then, just now I went into a server and heard zombie sounds, but of course I thought this was just that bug that happens when you randomly hear zombie sounds.  Nope not this time, there was an invisible zombie and it started beating on me.  I tried to punch the air all around me and it didn't make any sounds as if i connected on any of the punches.  I then bled out.

 

Also, one more odd tidbit, the invisible zombie that attacked me did so when i was in a 2nd floor room.  I haven't noticed any zombies before this go upstairs in any building since they just they just walk/run trhough the walls.

I can find loot no problem. Zombies have always been scarce. Some people will close the doors behind them and make it look like its untouched. I do that too when I camp places. I give people the idea its safer and that no one was here before, they tend to be more careless.

Depends on the server. I had massive problems earlier, but there were overall hive / server-issues.

 

If you can't find a server tonight, then don't bother. Today's another day and most of it will be fixed with the next hours / days.

But yes, I've take a break from playing too, untill a couple of updates have been pushed out

Me too, I dont want to exhaust the awesomness especially before its anywhere near its potential.. i think ive played about 15 hrs all up, just wanted to explore some of the map and wow they have really gone through it with a fine tooth comb and really given the map so much more character than previous..

 make that 30+ in my case... :D I think it will be horribly hard to get around bigger cities when we have a zombie evey 5 meters, with increased health & what not. (headshot/split with an axe should still be insta kill)

Indeed when the zombies come should change everything.. people less bored and maybe not as much KoS and focusing more on teaming up etc...

 

You wont be able to enter a cherno with anything less than an armed team with alot of ammo i cant wait to see how wild thats going to be :D

I entered several servers since the last update (Jan 5th) and there wasn't a single thing to pick up in any of the buildings... I did eventually find servers which worked, but the problem is certainly there for some - never was an issue before the last update.
