How do i download and play?

Im new to this game and have seen gameplay footage of it and would love to start playing!.

Thing is i dont know how to download and what does mods mean etc..? i have no idea where to download.
I have downloaded both the SIX and the other download but its very complicated.


Can anyone shine some light on this ?

Have you bought Arma II and Operation Arrowhead?

 

If yes; use DayZ Commander to patch it and get the latest version of DayZ. You can also download other mods of the mod (modception) if you wish!
