Mastho 8 Posted January 4, 2014 I know the game is ALPHA and all that, but would one of you kind hardware experts check my specs. It would be nice if you could guess how good my performance ingame would be (depending on the graphic settings ofcause). I played the Arma 2 mod and can´t remember my FPS completely, but it something like this: Inside big cities: 15-25 Outside: 30-50 My settings was on medium, with a 1080p resolution (maybe) So here is what you all been waiting for, MY SPECS...... crazyandlazy 376 Posted January 4, 2014 google "game debate". The site has details on whether you can run a game. I'm sure SA is on there.
sonicrainbrony 136 Posted January 4, 2014 Yea you can probably run it somewhat decent.
creature 1189 Posted January 4, 2014 You should get about the same fps but it should also feel a little smoother. I gained 5 fps on average over the mod.

sonicrainbrony 136 Posted January 5, 2014 http://systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/requirements/dayz/11929/?p=aWhat this site does is it checks the minimum and recommended system requirements for a game, and tells you if your components are above that or not. In other words, it just doesn't work. Also, to answer the OP's question, it's possible to have less stutter in an image even though the FPS is the same (kinda like microstutter). BadassPreacher 47 Posted January 5, 2014 (edited) I have it running on a i5-480m, GT 540m, 8g RAM laptop (worse than yours), so I think you'll be able to do it. With some minor tweaking I got it working surprisingly well (on my standards), been running around for a couple dayz now and so far I'm enjoying it. But do remember that the definition of "playable/enjoyable" is different from person to person, personally I'll take frames over graphics every time.
