I got the alpha so that I can get involved with bug reporting, stability tests, etc., but without knowing what's new in the experimental builds/servers, I'm just wasting time there. Yes i mean "pending updates" and the last three "rolling updates" was named "pending updates" befor they changed the name. I played the last four experimental patches on the experimental server's [ DayZ DE 0-1 (Experimental/Testing) and also 0-2,0-3,0-4 ]. Usually the server get the rolling updates some hours after the topic comes out. At the moment there is no new patch! They added 40 new servers, but I don't know if thzere are any asian servers, just heard about some australian servers coming up... There is way to not download exp/stable branch every change ?No way as far as I know.If there is an update (no matter if you play exp or stable) you have to install it or you can't connect to servers, since the version number is checked (and other things too) and all servers are updated pretty fast...But if you play an stable just opt out of experimental and you get only the stable updates...but why would you not want to have updates? But hey want to do it, so heres a little how to. As stated above, the Experimentals are nearly empty. Props to you, man! I just came across the "experimental" thing today and did not know how to contribute! Now I know and am grateful for that! The last time i played on them they had 2 daytime and 2 nighttime. @raynor009 He's posting this for people who are not up to date with every single thing ab this game like some of us are. Most people have no clue the Exp servers even exist because they are usually never full or half full for that matter. US Experimental servers are setup to run late afternoon to early evening (about 3 hrs daytime and 1 hour nighttime) then they restart. This avoids the 12 nighttime which so many people want to avoid and respawns loot frequently. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
