I was playing just fine with my buddy yesterday and today log on to DayZ SA and Session Lost. Checked my Steam Account and VAC Status: Banned for cheating infraction. spejjan 0 Posted January 1, 2014 im just gonna go out on a limb here, is it possible that runing in attack stance, which makes u run faster can be detected as speedhack by VAC? Cus i doubt this many ppl uses cheats? Just noticed that my friend got VAC banned too and I know for a fact he would never cheat and hes really bumed about it cus now when he plays counter strike everyone will think hes cheating (he plays at a fairly high level). I do not use hacks, i do not delete files, I cannot find anything in my profile that says anything about VAC bans which makes complete sense because like i said, I'm not a script kiddy hacker wanna be cheater. And yet I get Confirmation of changes session disconnect errors on most servers I once played on (Vilayer and Gameserver) I was able to join a European server last night without issue but pings were way too high. What gives?Also have over 450 hours in the game and only recently did this start (2-3 days ago).My steam profile - http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197996404335 EDIT: Yes I verified all my files via steam. I'm going to kill my toon and see if fresh spawning fixes it. i hear there's a lot of inventory problems screwing with desyncing a lot which could be the cause of this. Especially if you have lots of inventory or yellow storage boxes which i do. I'll report back in 5 minutes (damn spawn timer)... EDIT2: Instead of respawning after suicide, I decided to join a far away server, dump all my inventory then attempt to join vilayer nude and that worked. I'm not getting the error anymore and I can use inventory, so something was corrupted with my inventory. I do not use inception, do not put yellow cases inside of yellow cases or back packs inside of back packs, I also do not dupe items. However; I think either yellow cases are glitch when you have many OR logging in to a server with a rifle on your back and one in your hands (two rifles) might be causing this issue. I will test further and if i find something definitive, i'll open a bug report.My Advice for anyone having this same issue.... remove your max ping in the server filters and find any server you can get on, then either kill yourself or dump all your inventory.
