Suppressors not working?

So my understanding of a suppressor is that it will reduce the noise and muzzle flash of a weapon?

 

I just got one for my M4. Tested it with and without the suppressor and it didnt make any difference to the noise produced or muzzle flash (at night)

The real point of a suppressor is to somewhat lower noise but is primarily for removing muzzle flash. Noise I could care less about its the flash that gives your location away.

 

 

Lots of noise still in this video.
