king_of_the_beans 92 Posted December 30, 2013 I recently watched this video about how in the summer the nights tend to be more brighter then the nights in the summer. I really want to see this system implemented into the game because it will help people who can only have a few hours of daylight before it turns night time in real life, also it adds a sence of realism to the game as well. Here is the video I watched http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3gacnHb9TI FTW Minutephysics
Bakercompany86 347 Posted December 30, 2013 Reread your first sentence :) Nights need to be brighter in general. As it stands, you can't see a damn thing at night. That is actually unrealistic.

That is actually unrealistic.Yes, you can only see in nights if and only if you change your brightness, gamma, and HDR and that only helps you distingush from shadows. ArmA simulates 24/7 - month - year cycle... First pic is 01.01.2013 at 0:00 second one is 07.01.2013 at 0:00 with the same weather conditions. When I played ARMA II I never noticed a difference in the brightness Summer or Winter, the moon in the summer is not even in the same phase as the moon in the summer, and I am talking about the SA not the mod
Frell 80 Posted December 30, 2013 Nights need to stay pitch black to stop gamma nightvision. The flashlight radius just needs to be a teeny bit bigger and the flashlight needs to be held correctly at all times
