elektro there is a small harbor ish area. with 4 industrial buildings, check those out also the hospital in elektro is a good place, have found 5 mosins in all of elektro in 1 day (at the harbor ish area i have found 2 at once) they dont have ammo though and i have had a hard time finding ammo for the mosin, the gun itself isn't that hard to find.

M4, pistol, or mosin spawn in the 3rd floor room of every school.

i explored all the map, and i know which buildings spawns m4, mosins, pistols, food, there is even one common house made of wood where you will never be abble to find any kind of loot, you can find mosin in a grey house with green balcony, it has a piano inside, there should be a mosin at the first floor or some kind of ammo (the house is rare, but big citys have it) the easiest way to find mosin is to travel to places away from the sea, non popular ones, for example in animal farms on the ground

There are many other villages with this building.

Berezino lumber yard one has always been 100% for me with out fail ( even a side arm ).

Village west of NEAF has a school aswel no one ever goes there.

Your problem is your looking in the right places, but very high traffic right places. Loot dose not re spawn yet ( the cause of server hopping )

Berezino lumber yard one has always been 100% for me with out fail ( even a side arm ).

The building yoire talking about is called a "school" on dayz. In takilife it is used for the bank.

The 3rd floor has only one enter able room. It is a guaranteed 100% spawn of a gun! either m4, pistol or mosin. Go to that room and server hop, you'll find one in minutes. Most people leave mosins behind since they run m4s.

i found a mosin every time i hit up a long barn. mostly around green mountain.

 

found 5 in long barns, 1 in construction, 1 in red house
