How/when can we make standalone cinematics?

How and or when will we be able to create cinematics for the standalone the same way we did with the arma 2 editor?

To be honest I doubt it will be that easy in DayZ Standalone.

Never seems about right. You have to realize that for the devs to give the modding capabilities that arma had would directly reduce the security they have built in to the engine and are working on versus hacking.

Didn't I read somewhere that modding would be possible in the future?

The possibility of modding has been discussed. I haven't read/seen anything that says "yes modding will be included". Rocket has said it is something he would like to add in far down the road, but security of the game also has to be taken into account.
