crazyandlazy 376 Posted December 30, 2013 My computer can handle Dayz SA but it seems all my bullets aren't registering. Hear me out. I see the person first and in scenarios like this all I have to do is kill them and come out without a scratch but since my bullets aren't registering, they manage to hurt me. It is getting really annoying now. Can anyone tell me the workaround so that bullets register properly? I mean, I hear the sound of bullets shooting out and yet I keep getting hurt where I should not have even one scratch. I hate wasting bullets but it seems I have to spray and pray in this game. I want to burst fire. Appreciate it.
deevote 21 Posted December 30, 2013 Same way with zombies?
crazyandlazy 376 Posted December 30, 2013 Nope. Zombies are fine. One hit and they go down. But with people it takes way too long. I have the to shoot a duration of like 9 bullets.

floj 393 Posted December 31, 2013 You shooting from first or third person? Aim is horribly inaccurate from TPS, from FPS you can be a one-man army. Also remember to burst fire, 2 short bursts of 3-4 rounds is better than firing a whole clip in one go.

I always pick burst fire mode for my guns for all my games but the bullets don't hit so it's best to just shoot. I tested it out and the guns recoil up and to the right. Oh I have one more question. How does the ADS work in this game? I read somewhere you are suppose to imagine the barrel of your gun and not depend on ADS. Please give me some detailed advice? RaxUK 61 Posted December 31, 2013 Its probably a combination of desync, shit aim, 3rd person being inaccurate, and you not considering bullet trajectory
Nanoha 37 Posted December 31, 2013 How do you know you are missing? After playing something like BF (hit indicators), I find it very odd to shoot people and not know if I am hitting them or not. I shot at someone from about 2 meters away crouched, first person and aimed down sights and I still have no idea if I hit them as there was no body/person. He shouted something when I started shooting and must have either logged before I hit (doubtful, I had the jump on him) or logged dead and the body went. I have not noticed any decrease in accuracy using aimed/third person, I find it is actually easier to aim that way and you can zoom in more too (unless you have a mag scope). I've been shot and kill right through concrete stairs too so I don't put to much faith in the hit mechanics of this.

If you shoot, there is a little bit of blood spraying out if it hits but this sort of detail is overlooked when you're in the heat of the moment. I know it missed because I saw the enemy first, took my sweet time to aim and yet I need more bullets than necessary to kill him.
