I as a lefty feel left out playing video games because the character always holds gun with right hand. I want to be able to hold the gun with my left hand in dayz

Unless bullpub, there's no problem.

 

I'm a lefty and as most lefties, I'm also lazy, so rather than moving the mouse to the left side, every time I had to use a PC, I just started using my right. I don't think the game needs left handed animation and I never use it myself, but you can definitely shoot most weapons left handed without problems.

In reality firing a weapon left handed, isnt very common. I am left handed and whenever i have fired a weapon in real life i have always been told to place into my right shoulder (well i have only fired the L98A2 which is bullpup as someone stated earlier) but, i dont really know if firing a weapon left handed is such a big thing, i am so used to using the L98A2 in my right shoulder it feels weird in my left shoulder now

The drawing hand has to be much more co ordinated as you pick arrow and get it on the string.

Um, the proper way to shoot a bow is to hold it in your off-hand and draw with your dominant hand.

And yeah, first world problems.  Link is a lefty, if it bothers you so much, go play Legend of Zelda until you calm down.
