Buying the Alpha (Noobie Stupid Question)

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I was going to buy the early access standalone from Steam today when I mentioned it to a mate of mine asking him to buy it as well. But he said something that I think is rubbish but it made me doubt myself, so I thought I would come on here and just ask a stupid question =)

He said he read that when the Full completed game releases you have to buy it again! This is BS right, he's winding me up surely??

Thanks and sorry for the derp question.

False info. You only buy the game once and get all future updates free. :D

Tell your mate to stop getting gossip from toilet cubicles while waiting for Bubba at 3am.

Yes he's wrong. You will only say the Alpha price.

The only thing that I can think may alter that is talk somewhere of a special 'collectors edition' I was reading yesterday. It's possible that you may well need to stump up further for things like exclusive packaged material, DLC may be free, who knows.

But for vanilla retail release you're good for the current price.

Hope it helps .
