help please

so i tried to play dayz today and when i loaded into a sever my keyboard does not work with the game it it was working ever since the game came out but today

Sorry Mate I'm not an expert on keyboards i can barely reach mine :D

 

Anyone have any ideas???

Is it just DayZ or do any other games have the problem? I'm no expert but I'd just try other things and if all else failed "Verify game cache files" for Steam and in the end reinstall it if I had to.

 

If you have a friend with DayZ or a computer that can run it, bring your keyboard and use it on their computer. I don't know just a suggestion.

Possibly update your hardware drivers?

 

Also check your cables for any splits etc and if that doesnt work try a re-install.

Check your controls through the main menu. Reset them, even if they look good.

 

Also updating drivers can't hurt.

tried like 3 different keyboard : dell one : SteelSeries Apex : razer deathstalker ultimentea

Make sure you have the current version of the game or it maybe due to updating to the current test version. The current test version afaik works on the current live servers but who knows what kind of wonkiness it may cause.
