Recommended Posts

I have a pristine suppressor attached to my m4 and it doesn't seem to change a thing, anyone experience the same thing?

Rumor has it suppressors work for other players, but not zombies..Not sure if it has any affect on the damage output of your shots, but players around me (friends) have said that my gun was nearly silent when they were only 15m away from me, but I was still pulling zeds from across town.

This is just hear-say at this point, though, unless someone else can do some legit testing.

I tried dual-wielding suppressors and I swear I caught somebody laughing at me.

Did you shoot the gun with the silencer attached? Did it sound like it was suppressed/did zombies ignore you? Suppressor didn't work? Well there you go! Was it really that hard?

IIRC silencer work perfectly. It is the fact you are not using subsonic ammo which should have the "suppressed" tag in the title of the ammo.

I tested a suppressor with a friend and we found that they do work for humans. I couldn't hear anything but bullet impacts on the ground past 30 meters or so. Not exactly sure of the distance since it was a guess but they do work

I remember reading on Rocket's twitter that the suppressors currently do not work. So at the moment they are just cosmetic tools of intimidation.
