WarZ all over again

After a few "questionable deaths" One of which occurred miles from the nearest town. While I was checking out the old debug type areas.After a couple hours I stopped for lunch near some rocks . After a few minutes I was showered by full auto M4 rounds splattering all around me with no delay for reload. This shower lasted a good 45 seconds before they stopped for about 10 seconds , at which point I was teleported into an open field and shot pointblank.  

 

For me it was final confirmation. Hackers have arrived in Standalone. So , it looked like I was once again going to face the same old challenges from the mod. Hacker Hunting Season. But this time with out proper weaponry .

 

I log out and chat with buds to figure out a strategy.

In order to properly Know thy Enemy  . We hit google. Sure enough a depressingly high amount of results from the top sites for these things. 

I wont go into great detail. But for it being sooo soon after basic launch . I am a bit surprised at just how much is available. 

So for those of you that like myself enjoy a bit of counter hacker hunting. 

Turn on your recording software. And take note of this list of what to watch out for .

Give Gear

Teleporting

Unlimited ammo

No recoil / reload

AimBot. 

 

I've already noticed a lot of the streamers and youtubers are using these in an attempt to keep there videos action packed. 

 

To the Devs. I REALLY hope you guys are tracking this and are planing a mass ban soon . VAC ban would be nice. So they lose there entire steam account. 

 

The the legit bandit players. Take a break from wasting your bullets on the poorly geared survivors . And start hunting for guys that are fully decked out.

Most hackers are highly predictable in there actions and become easy to hunt down and lay traps for. 

 

To the typical none pvp focused survivor .. good luck. You really stand no chance in hell . 

 

 

Who would not expect hackers in the standalone? It's DayZ, and it probably does not even have any anti-hacking security yet. Just wait, it will get fixed, and then it will get hacked again. Welcome to DayZ Alpha.

nice conclusions without proving single point, if it was 45 seconds, u had plenty of time to turn fraps on or to make some screenshots + which streamers are u talking about ? If a streamer hacks he is almost immidietely banned from twitch, so elaborate... and which streamer was that ?

 

well thats a bullshit, i was watchin *** presentation the other day for 45 min before guy closed the stream, and plz dont try to deny there are hackers because you didn't see one yet. Hacking in DayZ now is easier than ever but the good thing is devs will patch whatever they can and then launch anti-cheat softwares.

Dont you think its way better to get shitload of hacks released now, devs can deal with those in one blow and even test the counter measures.
Also its an alpher, it still has holes in it like Dean has said. Give it time and quit bitching people, run to balota and gear up again.

The devs have the right idea by releasing this as alpha. This way they get to have "hackers" test their security by making all these scripts and they can sit back and watch how its done. Instead of having their own team go through trying to find vulnerabilities all these skiddies are testing it for them. I have played plenty of the alpha and haven't encountered any hacking yet,so far it is going great compared to the mods security issues.

I've read somewhere that VAC is activated for DayZ now. Hopefully this will be a problem that will slowly go away. Me and my buddy were looting the airfield up in the northwest section of the map. (Don't know the name of it but i think you guys know what i'm talking about) And suddenly we both were shot by a group of people coming through the walls of the fire station. It's really frustrating. But once VAC is in operation i believe people will stop using hacks eventually since you're risking being banned from the game entirely.
