DayZ need the option to switch between characters!

I have been playing DayZ standalon for a few days now, and one thing that I would like to have is the opportunity to change between character.

 

Because I usually play DayZ with friends, and those friends don't always have the chance to play DayZ, but I dont want to go on without him on the character I have adventured on with him.

 

I would love a character select screen :)

The Standalone will only allow you one character, since there are only Public Hive Servers. Many characters will be possible with the coming of private hives. Which tbh I hope never happens.

I'd rather each server have its own character tied to it, but I expect that to be wildly unpopular with most people and doubt it will come to.

 

The problem with your idea is you can have one character die, then boom your new character can be in the area and right there. It's weird.

For now just go on without them and regroup.
