Can you craft double mags with tape?

Can you tape two of the same kind of magazines with duct tape making them a double magazine?

You'd need a spacer between the mags or else you would have two mags tapped together and it wouldn't fit inside the magazine well.

Yup... and with the stanags, how about just turning one bottoms up? That would fix your problem and is generally used anywhere irl.

No need for a spacer between mags imo, flipping the other mag around would be good enough, would be a nice little touch tbh.

ive found a double mag off a server hopper once gave them to my buddy since he uses the m4 more than i do and he lost them. Not sure if you make them or find them. Also has anyone found a use for ducktape yet?

Untill you realise that hitting that bottom mag into anything too hard, getting it full of dirt/snow/water (all likely happen in combat) may cause it to not feed ammo to the gun, which needless to say is a bad thing to happen middle of fight. Also there´s the problem of unintentionaly unloading your mag during combat.

I've been trying combinations of everything I find. Nothing has worked so far. 

I think we'll have to wait for the crafting to be implemented in a better form before we can start using our 100 mile an hour tape on everything we see.

It would be cool if you could duct tape peoples mouths though... and then when they speak all that comes through is a 'mmmph' noise. :p

You can find double mags in every barrack or other military building. They aren't that scarce.

But they are some kind of buggy. They don't have reload faster, they don't reload at all. Just 60 bullets to spray and pray instead of two times 30 rounds and reloading faster between them.

 

I couldn't tape them together either, so I guess it is not yet implemented. But I think, it will be in the future. It is too easy to not do it.

 

Using the tape to handcuff somebody would be nice too. Needing a blade to uncuff them.
