my flashlight broke?

so i logged onto a night server and for some reason my flashlight wouldnt turn on. i tried different batteries, relogging and even restarting my computer. when i mousehweel and turn it on, nothing happens. but then when i mousewheel again theres an option to turn it off, as if it were on. also tried turning it on and off a few times, dropping it.

 

is this a bug or any ideas how to fix this? thanks!

nope, and ive used the same flashlight b4 and it was working

the batteries a probably dead you can lick them to test them but the animation is weird you like eat the battery then it tells you in the chat what its levels are at

Same thing happens to me. I assume its a glitch.

I dont think its a glich, I think the battery in the flashlight just ran out

Id say check the batteries but everyone already has said such.  Is the flashlight in ruined condition?  If it is it will stop working.
