Broken leg? No morphine? Very good

Recommended Posts

It is quite hard right now:

- Zombies have a high chance of breaking your bones.

- Noone spawns with morphine.

- Morphine is only available in the three big cities. (more or less at least)

Keep it like this! It creates an interesting dynamic. Normally I never go back south. But we have been out of medical supplies and my friend broke his leg. I had to go to one of the big cities, very risky for a player with good gear.

Of course you have Berenzino which is relatively safe. But I like the idea that all players have to come back to the bigger towns to resupply on medical stuff.

Tip: Stock up on medical supplies before you leave the coast.

This is pretty irritating, morphine should be able to spawn, maybe just rare spawns tho..

If you break a leg you should have to find a wheel chair and go around in that. This magical morphine that fixes broken bones isnt realistic.

Now that would be completely badass.

*rolls into a Huey and makes it explode*

Yeah, Im THAT kind of badass :D

True, Morhpine is not that realistic as well... nor is it having your leg broken like paper because of a rotten corpse hitting you with their bare hands...

But oh well, people will reply saying "but it can't be too realistic"... lol

Jep that is fine as well. We can have a low spawn chance of morphin at normal civilian buildings.

But if you need morphine quickly or want to stock up on medical stuff you have to go the hospitals / medical tents.

If players would spawn again with morphin the overall supply would be too big. New players can equip morphin at the hospitals and Cherno and Elektro anyway.

Would be nice to be able to splint the leg, even if just for a temporary fix.

Just have a bit phantasy :)

You don't have to think of a broken leg and its miracle cure. You can just make up something else in your mind...

You are somehow fucked up and you need to do something against it.

Broken leg - morphin is just a "placeholder" for all the things which could happen to you in reallife.

I just fell from a bugged stair in a Deer Stand.

Had a M4A3 CCO, M9 SD, Coyote Backpack, all tools (Except NVG), lots of food, lots of ammo.

In the end, after crawling for like 2 hours i just got killed by a few zeds.

I had two shots of morphine. Used the first after a zed fight, the second after i fell a few stairs in a barn.

every time i join a new server there is like 50% i will spawn with a BROKEN leg for no reason or just spawn in the mid air and will be falling down on the ground and die

fucking bugs are the problem

not morphine or something

The random bugs with breaking bones on random objects will be ironed out. But I like that you don't spawn with morphine, it adds to the despair when you do break a bone and you have no morphine. The only thing that makes me mad is when a SINGLE zombie breaks a bone of yours and then you're fucked. Then again, this is alpha, and changes are going to be made.

Thanks for the Gear Terrorfex I was hurtin.

Everything after 1.7.1.1 has certainly not made the game "better" -- "More Fun" -- "More Intense"

It's almost like Rocket gave the code to somebody else who F'd it up.

Bones break too easily. Simple as that. No way in hell can a zombie scratching at you can break your legs and arms. No way.

Should have a "Wooden Splint" item that acts the same as morphine but has a two minute delay before you can walk again. Just a thought.

Agree with this, legs break too easily and morphine is too rare.you should spawn with 1 so that when a bug breaks your leg you know its time to get some more.

Your right, and neither is waking up magically on a beach with zombies, or coming back to life after taking a 7.62mm round to the head.

Morphine can be found in any supermarket' date=' hospital, appartment, common house or deer stand.

Are you 100% sure about this or just looking at some outdated lootlist? Personally I haven't found any morphine in residentials or markets. Also Cantines somehow have become very rare now.

Like said before Morphine isn't the biggest issue, the biggest issue is how fragile you are in this game which is completely unrealistic. This game tries to achieve realism, so it needs to succeeds since all it's done in these updates is add realism.

With that being said they need to fix the glitches where you'll either randomly fall down and break your legs, or you'll fall down a few steps and break your legs. Possibly make it so it's harder for zombies to break your bones.

Either way, the way Morphine works too isn't fully realistic either, but one step at a time and they need to cover the major things first like randomly breaking your legs.

I suggest that broken limbs heal over time until something more appropriate can replace it. If my character gets life threatening thirsty in a few hours in game, then my limbs should heal to a nerfed state (as fragile as they are now).

Or, limbs should be buffed so that my character does not have half his bones explode into dust when getting scratched by a zombie.

As others have said, I hate how often zombies cause these rediculous injuries. I mean, do they constantly manage to slit my wrists / throat? Or how the hell do they even break legs in the first place? I would personally nerf this break / bleed% into the ground, and maybe just up the base damage. Don't get me wrong, I like a challenge, but this just comes off as plan annoying.

I am pretty sure that getting hurt crawling through doorways or by other objects in the world has been an Arma II bug since the game came out. So the fix may have to come from BI. Broken bones on the other hand is probably a percentage chance based on damage amount taken. This should be tuned down.

You can find morphine anywhere, just found two injectors in a deer stand today. Ironically also had broken legs too. xP
