Suggestion - Berries and other forest items

Recommended Posts

Currently the world is so impressively immense, you'll find yourself wandering through miles and miles of basically nothing. It'd be great for the nomad players to be able to find resources in these empty spaces that wouldn't necessarily make you a king among men, but would help you survive until you came across a town or other hot spot. I'm aware that there are plans to add animals, but you could add other things such as berries, mushrooms, nuts, and herbs. The herbs could even be used to treat injuries quicker.

In addition, it would be nice to find tools that could help your survival in the wild, including spigots which could be tapped into trees for water.

Forming alliances and shooting each other in the face is all fine and dandy, but giving players these extra little tidbits could provide a somewhat peaceful alternative to the shoot-em-up Rambo style of zombie survival games.

Would be nice. Throw the odd poisonous ones in for good measure.

Plenty of fruit(less) tree's around too but I guess some things are seasonal.

Just to be silly, I'd eat bugs too.

Would be awesome but might put too much load on the server. I'd like to be a rugged mountain man as well though. Crafting bows, wearing furs, setting traps, with a pet wolf. OK the wolf is too much buta man can dream.
