I would just like to say it's An "Alpha"

Okay, i think it is time for the DayZ community to sit down and have a little chat about what a "Alpha" is.

 

A Alpha is a Test bed in other words, it is not a game to be played it is not even really a game, just like mechanics and engineers when developing cars you have personal who work on test beds, were you place the core engine and check for faults bugs and problems, in this case the same scenario as DayZ SA currently, just like a engine test bed it is not yet ready to be dropped in the car and played with for fulfillment and enjoyment.

 

So why is it i am seeing people from left right and center saying, This is even bad for a alpha, this is too stiff for a alpha, this is too buggy for a alpha, for starters you cannot even begin to comment with these statements because they don't apply and quite frankly you come across as a bit of a mindless goon, the Alpha is not meant to be any compilation of any aspects, we have simply been given the option to basically work with the team with the exact same content they have to work with, which is basically a core system to test game play, items, animations ect, so we can feed the information back to the team so adjustments and fixes can be made and applied.

 

Nothing in this "Alpha" is there for enjoyment or fulfillment, but is there for work criteria, for both us and the devs, how hard can it be to miss and understand the following statement...

 

" WARNING: THIS GAME IS EARLY ACCESS ALPHA. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE IT UNLESS YOU WANT TO ACTIVELY SUPPORT DEVELOPMENT OF THE GAME AND ARE PREPARED TO HANDLE WITH SERIOUS ISSUES AND POSSIBLE INTERRUPTIONS OF GAME FUNCTIONING."

 

Quoted from the steam store on the DayZ's page it's self, it is not hard to to dismiss buying the game because of it's current state, Dean him self has even stated to the community do "not" buy the game to play or to just see the game it's self.

 

So for you people saying this should have been fixed before the alpha was released, and this should have been noticed before the alpha was released. and this and that should have been sorted before the alpha was released "NO" it shouldn't have, because it is a alpha it is not there to be played for enjoyment and your fun, it is there to be tested, or played for testing if you like, so keep that in mind and engage your mind before you engage your mouth.

 

So before you go a head and start making complaints and flame fulfilled posts at the Devs and the game it's self Comprehend "ALPHA" before you post.

For the love of all that is holy, please stop copy-pasting that text and spamming "alpha alpher" on every thread.

Everyone is aware that it is alpha, the only people who are bitching about it are the ones that are constantly pointing it out.

Bugs are expected, and so is talking about that bugs. There are official places for bug reporting but why not discuss it here?

Thank you for wasting my time i just spent typing this out, i have also posted thin on the steam forums if you wish to look your self.

 

The point is people aren't getting the fact it's a alpha and just spamming everywhere they can these problems and issues, and just causing more problems than there already is.

I liked the part where in the same sentence you told people to not post feedback and then said people should be posting feedback. The only problem I've seen so far on these forums is people like you spamming "IT'S AN ALPHA STOP POSTING BUGS AND FEEDBACK" 15 times an hour.

 

But yeah other people are the ones who don't know what an alpha is and need to stop posting .....

Sorry,you obviously do not understand, i am concentrating this post on implying people "should" post bugs, but not complain that the alpha is buggy, is that a little better for you to comprehend or do i need to go into detail ?
