Chambering a round?

Hello, I have a FNX and a few extra 45 rounds. I do not have a magazine for the gun but i was wondering if i was possible to chamber a round? I have played around with it and cant seem to get it to work. Im going to assume its not implemented yet.

You would think that being how complex the weapon system is. This would be a possibility. Chambering one round as a last ditch effort to drop that charging Zed.

For anyone who may read and not one hundred percent understand. He is talking about manually placing one bullet into the chamber without a magazine. This is something that is 100% possible in R/L and which I do alot of times when practicing quick mag switches.

I tried the same, not implemented yet is my guess. If someone figured out how to do it, please do share.

 

edit: ^^ see what pastor is saying, how to put a bullet individually into the chamber. No mags involved.

I definitely do take credit for this idea. I'm pretty sure i heard Rocket mention it a while back in either the dev blogs or an interview. I thought that it would be a feature already implemented but i guess not. I'm sure it's on the list and we will see it very shortly.

How do you go about doing it with the Mosin? Drag and drop the ammo onto the gun?

^Tis is true, rounds are loaded individually into an internal magazine or forced in all at once with a stripper clip. I personally would like to see the actual animation of a stripper clip for the Mossin! For some elaboration see this video. Only with a quick fluid animation. Just small details that can be added later :)

You can. I was chambering all my M4 rounds because I couldnt find a mag...its slow, but I guess it works

I chambered 1 round into my mosin by simply right clicking the ammo and selecting the chamber option to deal with a Running/gunning/spraying/rambo/bambi yesterday so it def works in-game for the mosin.
