How to reload 45 Pistol and what the heck is the defib for?

My friend and I have been playing on a server and we found some AWESOME loot so far. We have the 45 pistol and 80 rounds, but we can't figure out how to load them into the gun. Do you need a mag? We haven't seen any mags, and im pretty sure we've seen nearly every item so far other than books of course. We have also found a defibrillator, but have NO idea what the heck is it for. can you seriously revive people within a certain time?

Yes, you have to have a mag. AS per the defibs, I have no idea. Everyone beats the fuck out of me to the point of death, and they don't work on dead people apparently.

a defibrillator is the electric pads they use in hospital/battle grounds to revive those who have suffered cardiac arrest.

defib looks like it will be a better version of the epi pen to revive those unconscious, but you can use the defib more than once given you have the battery for it.

I have found numerous m4 mags in 10-30rd sizes plus a lot of other ammo, however I have found very few 45 ammo and only 1 15rd mag so far.

They are, just very very rare.

Check out the military tents at balota and firestations for .45 and stanag magazines. Best place.

You're just having bad luck. I have 6 mags and I found them within 2 hours. Just depends where you are and how long it's been since server reset.

Iv used a defibrillator on a few friends that where unconscious and they stood up and where able to lean and move there head but not actually move anywhere....they also still see the black unconscious screen so its most probably bugged so not working :)

i love the feature that they seperated mags and bullets but i found a very annoying bug so far.

if you dont have any space in your bags,pockets,etc and you try to empy a full mag to put the bullets in a big ammo box, the ammo just disappear.

 

best thing to avoid this bug is to pickup the full magazine in your inventory, then put it into your hands and then empty it. now the character put the bullets on the ground and you can pick it up again to put it wherever you want
