How to Properly Rob a Newspawn...

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I just thought about the interesting topic of robbing people without killing them. It seems like a challenging task and is far more difficult than just shooting the victim.

As we all know you damage the loot if you shoot someone.

This new feature brings a new aspect of playing DayZ. Now you actually have to communicate with other "gamers" in game. I found out not everyone is hostile these Day'z. Even trading becomes a new way to get loot. It almost seems like this game could become better than we all expect!

But we all have to take part in this quest for perfection and joy. Don't just kill and camp the airfield. Trade and be nice to your fellow survivers. Make this game great for all players. Life is hard enough! Robbing is a great way of getting loot and the victim can go on afterwards, instead of being shoot for a can of beans and a soda.

This said let's get back to the question.

                                                                                  How to properly rob someone?!

You might ask yourself:

- What's is the best way to make somebody surrender?!

    Especially if he is armed!

- How do I approach?

-Should I bring a gun?

The Answer:

YOU SCREAM AT HIM!!

Make him understand who is in charge.

And you should bring a friend.

(Maybe you train restraining people with your buddys before you go "hunting".)

And you should bring a gun. Especially to a gun fight.

This lead's me to the reason why I post this. I found this video which perfectly show us how to rob players. Or how to train robbing players with "newspawns"!!

This video was not made by me!!!

I would like to hear your stories! Have you robbed someone?

Share your experiences with robbing people.    srsly !

I don't think you should rob Fresh spawns at all.

Like I sayed : wasn'd me.

If you rob someone you should choose a more valuable target.

I just found this video very amusing...

It sure has a funny side to it.  Was meant to be a topic about robbing people, and this video show's how not to do it.

Did you watch the video? They were holding freshly spawned players at gunpoint to siphon blood off of them. This actually seems like the perfect kind of person to steal blood from: freshly spawned players are likely to pose little threat, while also having a full supply of blood. It's exactly the kind of situation where killing the player is actually counter intuitive to your goal (a dead player can't have their blood siphoned).
