No servers in Server Browser

Recommended Posts

My friend has been trying to play the game for the past day and has not seen a single server in the server browser.  I myself have seen all of them so I don't see why it would be on his part.  I have looked all over the forums and all I see is one other person saying that they have no servers.  Someone replied to him telling him to change the max ping, my friend has done this.  He has tried changing it to a higher number to see if anything comes up and still nothing comes up. Thanks for the help.

Make sure you've clicked the internet tab. It seems that it auto selects the LAN servers.

Forgot to mention, that has been done.

Change the settings in the firewall to allow the program to run? That's kind of strange and probably aggravating.

*sigh* Please use the search function before posting a topic. There are a dozen topics on this.

I have no idea myself, I haven't read them. Use the search bar young padawan.

Try reconnecting to DayZ (close and re-open) and re-log on Steam.

That was the first thing we tried.

So you tell him to search for the answer instead of a making the thread, and you yourself had no idea if there was anything concerning his issue. Seems to me your only concern is your post count rather than helping someone. It's funny cause you made many posts telling people to search before posting. Perhaps you should mind your own business, unless you want to help someone and let the forum moderators decide what posts are to be made or not.

I would like to suggest to your friend to click the internet tab, then click refresh at the bottom. A similar situation happened to one of my friends, and this is how we fixed it.

He has clicked the Internet and then clicked refresh.

The only other thing I can think of....

Is he using a firewall. May want to disable it if he is.

Thanks for trying to help, he has shut off his firewall and also allowed dayz through the firewall.

Does his system meet the minimum system requirements?

Why would that matter for him to be able to find servers, but yes they do.
