Laser pointers.

Just came up with what I think would be a great idea - Laser pointers. Now hear me out before you call me silly, imagine being able to sit on a hill and use a laser pointer to plan and show your mates how you should approach cherno. The planning would be amazing. (I don't think they should project an actual stream of light that gives away your position, just the intended dot.) So what do you think?

I like the idea of the laser pointer...  however...   the red pointer that you are thinking about isn't strong enough for what you are describing.  For what you are describing, you would need the green laser in which you can see the beam on.
