How do i get color back ?

hi,

 

my game turned black and white more or less. i have eaten everything i have, no change.

(i have eaten till it said "you are really full")

i drank as much as i could at a pond, no change.

i took antibiotics, no change

i waited, no change.

 

is the only way to get color back by getting a blood transfusion by someone else ?

 

i have read the dayzdb.com article about eating/drinking but where can i see how much

"energy" "food" "blood" and "water" i have ? how much does a freshspawn have ?

 

playing in black and white is annoying. please help ;)

 

ps:

if there is a thread about that already, i´m sorry. but for some reason you can´t search "color"

You should slowly regenerate health over time if you remain full. Similar to the mechanic in Project Zomboid. Getting a transfusion is immediate. Both of these should fix the issue of losing color.

You slowly regenerate health/blood based on energy and water

 

LowRegeneration:

U are regenerating 1 Blood if Energy > 3500 and Water > 3000

FullRegeneration:

U are regenerating 3 Blood if Energy > 5000 and Water > 2500

Healing:

U are regenerating 1 Health if Energy > 5000 and Water > 2500 and Blood >= 5000

I don't think the regen works - I got B&W by not drinking enough (really really fast), now I'm full and have been playing for hours but no improvement (indicator says I'm thirsty all teh time although I drank like 10 times from the pond.

So it's either bug or a bug inmy case (SA or my character is sick)

My friend ran into the same problem, his vision was fuzzy and we knew that he had done everything right to "replenish" blood at least back to a stable state.  This seems to be a bug, he edited some graphics options and his fuzziness went away BUT the color never came back.

 

Until it's fixed, I would say a suicide or death will be the only solution  :(
