Nienko 41 Posted December 18, 2013 Ok so I am from Europe. I can only play at about 5pm and later. UK DE FR servers. Is there any way I can get on US or AU servers? They are not even on the list in my launcher. I'v tried to change my IP to US, JP, but then I dont get any servers at all. It doesnt work with VPN tuneling.Its not that I dont like to play at night in black and white, I just want to see how the game looks when its a day. I am sure someone knows "how to" so please share. yafeee 0 Posted December 18, 2013 Hi ! I think all servers have the same time (maybe GMT time). I live in Europe, and wanted to play by daytime, so I tried US servers (West - Central - Est). MLG420blazeit 62 Posted December 18, 2013 Yeah I think all of the servers have a shared Day/Night cycle. I think this is not the best idea, I think it would be better if it was a 12 hour day, 6 hours of light 6 hours of day, that means people who work/play in the evening can still enjoy the game and experience different times of day instead of being permanently stuck playing at night when they get home from whatever. The transition was much too abrupt, sunrise and sunsets are very brief and it just feels "meh". 4h/4h sounds bit better, but I still think that 6h/6h is probably the most balanced without going overboard - yes 12h/12h is very overboard. That's what made me so happy about this game back in the days, when it was starting to get darker outside irl it started to get dark in game as well. It felt immersive! Less people finding you, less people find all the loot in a house that you can snatch yourself if you look carefully enough. Night is the best! Night is the best! Night is fun, I agree, but when all you see is night it get's tired real quick. I mean I want to be able to see the sun, the colour in the landscape and the countryside. The blood smeared in the empty house etc etc.At night your options are gamma boost grayscale or total darkness with the beam of a torch for friendship(also alerts bandits exactly where you are for an easy murder). He should defiantly implement some +8 hour servers... or swap the US with the UK..... Did people not complain about this during the dayz mod dayz??????
