How Rare are "Pay Day" (Wolf) masks? How protective? (I have one!)

It's probably the most rare item I have in my inventory at the moment; all bragging rights aside, I'm curios. I full-well expected it to be a gimmicky rubber nothing that replaced my helmet while offering no protection; instead I have come to discover that my motorcycle helmet and my pay day mask are wearable at the same time?!

 

I'm assuming, in that case, that the PDM doesn't offer any protection (and if anything, makes people WANT to kill you more...)

 

I'm not going to lie and say my 1337 D@yZ skills found the mask; I looted it off a dead body (I SWEAR the body was dead when I found it)

 

Although it was mostly my 1337 D@yZ sk1||z

...they don't sound very rare. Apparently everyone has one and I'm not special. :( Oh well. Hey, you want to trade a 7.62 for your masks? Someone taught me how to load the Mosin...

Thats because of your character creation skills in the main menu. Try light or dark characters.

so chains mask could also be found somewhere i think

Nothing is really hat rare yet because they're arent a huge amount of items :P Sure there are a few things i haven't found but over all i Ive found most of everything just not all the variations
