Playing with 250 ping?

I live in Asia but i want to play with my brother who lives in Europe. I never played dayz mod before so i don't know if high ping is an issue.

So any of you who has been playing Dayz SA and dayz mod - is 250-260 ping playable?

250 is playable, but i prefer to play on less than 100ping servers.

 

It may put you at a slight disadvantage on occasion.

 

Optimal? no. But playable? Sure

During testing some of the people who are in Aussie were playing with high pings.

Maybe Smasht or Inception could give you a heads up on how they got on.

Well I don't know about 250 pings but currently we are in Germany and my Friends are all still in the US, so I usually play on US servers, and my ping is between 120 and 170 and I don't notice much difference between then and when I play on European servers with 20 ping.  Now occasionally yes I get the wtf I shot them first many times and then 1 hit and I'm dead, but since usually this game is about positioning and knowing when to strike when you have the advantage I Honestly really don't have many issues
