Bandits still KOS on sight

Recommended Posts

Every time iv'e met someone with a gun they shoot at me to kill me. Every time i meet some guy with an axe or some basic loot with no gun. There nice and friendly.

I thought they where men't to make the KOS thing a little harder.

If you shoot on sight because someone has a gun, regardless of their intentions.... Then you're the bandit. :P

You put a gun in a man's hand, he's going to feel powerful over someone who doesn't have a gun. And when supplies are running scarce, you're as good as dead.

I don't have a gun xD simply can't find one... every air field simply is looted and there is nothing.

I think its more like that : "I have a gun with ammo, I don't want to loose it, so I have to kill him because he will kill me and take it !"

They did make it harder... Your example of people who didn't have guns not killing you is in fact less KOS. Someone is always going to get a gun and always going to be able to shoot someone else, but right now the guns are less common so not EVERYONE is KOSing in Elektro/Cherno within 10 minutes of loading into the game.

Not everybody does, Those who want to KOS will still KOS regardless.

So far I have seen.

1 x guy with M4, didn't shoot me on sight, actually killed a couple of Zombies to help me out.

1 x guy with baseball bat, tried to kill me on sight.

1 x guy with axe, did kill me on sight.

me with mosin, didn't kill any of the 3 people I met and spoke to.

There are only slightly less KOS incidents in the standalone simply due to the lack of weapons and ammo, the same people who kill everything moving in the mod continue to want to do so in the SA.

I don't know who you're meeting. I've axed people questions all over the wasteland.

In my entire dayz-mod time I never KOS someone. Today in dayz SA I was forced to KOS one guy. I was hungry and thirsty. :P

My mate spawned in next to two other people said Hi and they beat him to death with their bare hands lol.

Everyone else I've encountered has been friendly so far, even some armed people up north.

Rocket does NOT want to completely wipe out KOS incidents. That would be impossible.

He wants to balance them on par with friendliness.

That's how he sees DayZ.
