Can I Run DayZ Retail (POST HERE)

Recommended Posts

Yeah, but I need a laptop ( to move from college --> home --> college ... ), and no space for a deskop. I've never had problems with laptop as well. At least I got the minimum setting I think, so I hope I,ll be able to run it fine ( was able to run wasteland fine back in the arma 2 days, not dayz at high though XD ). So far so good at least. Might have problems after 1-2 hours because of the heat.

I also have the same problem, but I found a really small case that fits in a cabin bag for example, that way its pretty portable for me(I flew Russia-Sweden-Russia with it)

The dual core might be to weak to enjoy the game. So no, I am sorry.

Hey, my pc doesn't smoothly run standalone in medium or higher, even i have to make settings very low to get some playable fps (but still lower than 30 in cities)

What might be wrong or should I just upgrade the Pc?

Desktop or laptop? Desktop
Monitor resolution: 1920x1080 (i have to make it 720p in game)
CPU: AMD A6-3500 APU 2,1Ghz (3CPUs)
Graphics card: AMD HD 6570
RAM: 8GB Corsair vengeance
SSD? (Yes/No) Yes

By the way, motherboard doesn't support higher than the AMD A8-3870K 3.0GHz, do you think it would be okay or not worth it?

The game will run, but on very low settings.

Maybe with tweaks you will be able to play it on low.

I would think only maybe, maybe ~15 - 20 on very very low settings.

On very low settings, with very low fps. The CPU is too slow and the GPU is relatively old too. I don't think it would be worth it.

I would guess ~30 - 40 on normal-ish settings, but maybe higher. Its a similar system to mine, I have a 3570k at 4.0GHz and a GTX 650, and I get 30 - 40+ on normal - high-ish settings.

I think your CPU is too slow, and you won't be getting good frames.

Your CPU is VERY weak, on very low to low settings you will get around 10~15 FPS in cities

Wholey low end laptops batman - - ya instead of replying to you all individually...

NO

sorry.

a laptop with any less than 2.8 ghz and a reasonably good video card will not play dayZ...you may be able to get 5-10 fps in some cases, but i dont consider that playable.

look to my flowchart for easy info

http://www.putlocker.com/file/446BEAF501E55C96

Optimal experience is LOTS of GHZ and medocre video card+

IE i5,i7,amd with minimum 3.5 ghz

and a gtx 460+
