carlj 93 Posted January 15, 2014 Yeah, but I need a laptop ( to move from college --> home --> college ... ), and no space for a deskop. I've never had problems with laptop as well. At least I got the minimum setting I think, so I hope I,ll be able to run it fine ( was able to run wasteland fine back in the arma 2 days, not dayz at high though XD ). So far so good at least. Might have problems after 1-2 hours because of the heat.I also have the same problem, but I found a really small case that fits in a cabin bag for example, that way its pretty portable for me(I flew Russia-Sweden-Russia with it)

NO sorry. a laptop with any less than 2.8 ghz and a reasonably good video card will not play dayZ...you may be able to get 5-10 fps in some cases, but i dont consider that playable. look to my flowchart for easy infohttp://www.putlocker.com/file/446BEAF501E55C96 Optimal experience is LOTS of GHZ and medocre video card+IE i5,i7,amd with minimum 3.5 ghzand a gtx 460+ Edited January 17, 2014 by deebz1234
