carlj 93 Posted December 26, 2013 (edited) Desktop or laptop: LaptopMonitor resolution: 1366x768CPU: 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7-2670QMGraphics card: AMD Radeon HD 7690M XT (2 GB DDR5 dedicated)RAM: 8 GB DDR3SSD? (Yes/No) I think yes, but I don’t know (hp pavilion dv6-6c80el is the model)much more simple to read ;DPlease answer, dont want to waste 25 eurosI don't think you would get a comfortably playable FPS with that laptop. Both Arma and DayZ are quite CPU demanding and i don't think that clock speed is enough, considering it is behind most current desktops. The GPU although reasonable for a laptop, is not meant for gaming, you could wait and see if DayZ becomes more optimized in the future. It will run it. But you might need to tweak the game yourself to get an acceptable FPS. I have almost the same, but a Nvidia GT 630m instead and I bought 16GB RAM and a SSD. Your laptop does not have an SSD. I get between 25-35FPS in cities and 40-50 outside Have a look here: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/154330-possible-fps-enhancer/ .Could I possibly run Standalone on any setting with this? I am not good with understanding computer specs. Thanks ahead of time! Desktop or Laptop: LaptopResolution: 1366x768CPU: Intel Core i5-2430M CPU @ 2.40 GHzGraphics Card: Intel HD Graphics 3000 with 64 MB Dedicated memory and 1.7 GB total, but version 4.1 version of pixel and vertex shaderRam: 8.00 GBSSD? I don't think it is.I hope this is enough information!I would say no, with only an integrated GPU. When I tried with my integrated I got 10-12FPS in Cherno=Unplayable. If our computer can or cannot run it, how would you contact us? Desktop or Laptop: LaptopResolution: 1600x900CPU: AMD A6-4400MGraphics Card: Radeon HD Graphics 2.70 GHzRam: 4GBSSD? NoI dont know how well the AMD integrated GPU works, but in general I would say any computer that doesnt have a dedicated GPU will have very big troubles running the game. Total budget for power supply/Video card is around $500+As long as you have a PCI-e slot(which you do since you already have a GPU installed), the choice is yours. I myself am going for a Gigabyte GTX770 OC2 which is the fastest (sofar) 770 you can get out of the box. About 399, PSU is to personal for me to suggest, but anything thats 80+ bronze or higher certified(Even a modular, that way you can remove the cables you dont need). And I would REALLY recommend a SSD. Edited December 26, 2013 by carlj

neomega 0 Posted December 27, 2013 Sorry if this situation was posted earlier but im too frustrated to read through all 14 pages. If this has been accessed in this topic just let me know. Desktopmonitor 2560 x 1440windows vista 32 bit*intel® core i7-2600 CPU 3.4GHz 3.4GHz4 GB RAMAMD Radeon HD 6970M 2048 MB *I recently got windows 8 but I haven installed it yet. I have a feeling that isn't my problem. My issue is that I'm using parallels windows on my mac. I'm pretty computer illiterate so I'm not sure if that is a major contributor to my problem. My game keeps jittering hard when I turn to a new direction or start moving foward as if it having a serious issue rendering new objects. I fiddled around with the launch options shown on the other topic but it only seems to be making everything else load quicker but the jittering is untouched. I also lowered all graphics to very low it didn't seem to help.
