No Zombies or invisible?

Hey, playin for about 1h now and didnt see any zombies, yet. Not even on small airfield west of cherno.

I can hear them sometimes but thats all. One time i died already and didnt really figured out why, yet.

It sounded like i get hit over and over and started bleeding, then unconscious.

 

So my questions:

Are there zombies and they are kinda invisible for me? Or aren't there any zombies and the sound just bugs?

And do i start bleeding from being hungry/thirsty?

As there is no UI for Hungry/Thirty... What is the best way to figure out when i should drink/eat?

1. Most likely whiped out by the hundreds of players that ran by already. :)
2. Sort of. You will die from not eating / drinking - but it should give you indication with small white text on the bottom left

1. There are zombies they may have laready been killed in the area you have approached you will hear faint zed snarles whilst running around even though there may not be one there.

 

2. You will not bleed unless struck. 

 

3.  Just follow the text's on your screen and make sure they do not turn red in color.

From the streams I've seen there def aren't enough zombies. Some people just stand around in the middle of a city without a care in the world.

There are going to be enough eventually. :) It's still being worked.
